Responsibilities

Ensure all work performed meets the requirements as per QARAH standards.

Report status & progress to Technical Manager/ MD

Compile drawings, procedures, reports and calculations as required

Ensure Safety and QA procedures are followed for all work being carried out

Ensure QA procedures are followed for all work being carried out.

Ensure QA card has all the relevant fields completed and signed off for all work that you carry out.

Set an example to your team by being punctual in your start times and being neat and tidy in appearance.

Work as a team to ensure that set priorities are achieved and agreed KPI’s are met.

Develop and nurture a team environment complimenting good performance and keeping focus on safety, quality and reporting any problems through the correct chain of command.

Ensure workflows through the workshop and that downtime and unanticipated problem are minimised and all personnel within your control are working efficiently.

Give advice and assistance to team members/ colleagues where required.

Deal with clients, suppliers and other departments / companies as required and portray Qarah in the best possible light at all times.

Disassemble, repair, reassemble and test associated equipment.

Fault-find and resolve problems within your areas of competence.

Ensure all out going jobs are completed to a high standard.

Work as a team with other service engineer to ensure that priorities are met.

Give advice and assistance to other service engineer where required.

Ensure that projects are completed within agreed schedule and budgets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field strongly preferred or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical engineering concepts and terms.

Proven strong technical knowledge and customer-oriented to customers.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Strong analytical thinking and trouble shooting capabilities;

Product technical knowledge and relevant experience in the industry is important
